The airport has a unique claim to fame with its grounds being turned into a North Korean looking airbase for the block bust buster James Bond Movie, Die Another Day.
Unfortunately the airport no longer operates to European or UK destinations for vacation purposes due to its turbulent history but is still home to the RAF History Museum, containing a Hurricane and Spitfire memorial.
