Heathrow Airport now has 5 main terminals taking 90 airlines to 180 destinations. Located on the West side of London on the famous M25 ring road, the terminals are sufficiently signposted for easy access.
Terminal 1 is mainly for domestic flights although does cater for European, such as BMI Baby, and occasional long haul flights.
30 airlines operate from Terminal 2 mainly to European countries.
Terminal 3 caters for the long haul flights using for example Virgin Atlantic Airlines to USA, South America and Asia.
Terminal 4 is home to retail shops such as HMV and WH Smiths.
Terminal 5, the newest terminal, British Airways will exclusively use this and is state of the art not to mention its energy efficient stature.
There are 5 car parks around the airport and some have bus transfer services running every 10 minutes.
